Monthly office hours with Amber Case
Each month, members join a live session where Amber presents a product of interest, walks through how it scores against the standard, and opens the floor for members-only Q&A. You receive a registration link after joining.

Is membership required to get a product certified?
No. Certification is a separate process. Membership gives you access to the framework, training, and office hours so you can understand the standard and apply its principles to your work, whether or not you pursue formal certification.
What is the 81-point standard?
Calm Tech Certified evaluates products across six categories: Attention, Periphery, Durability, Light, Sound, and Materials. The 81 criteria measure whether a product communicates through the right channel at the right time, works when it fails, and respects human cognitive limits.
How long does membership last?
One year from the date of signup. All tiers are a one-time annual payment.
Can I upgrade from Professional to Corporate during the year?
Yes. Contact us and we will credit the difference.
How do monthly office hours work?
After joining, you receive a registration link for each month's session. Sessions are live with Amber Case and typically include a product presentation followed by open Q&A for members.
I work in events and hospitality, not product design. Is this relevant?
