The Calm Tech Institute has awarded Ohm Health's Resonance Lamp a Calm Tech Gold Certification.

The Lamp has two immediately impressive and unique features: first, the lamp housing is borosilicate glass, the same material used in laboratory equipment and high-quality optical instruments, chosen for its thermal stability and the particular softness of light it produces. This material design makes it feel more like art or decoration than technology.
Secondly, the Lamp has a small, stone-like controller that is noticeably warm and delightful. This biofeedback device reads heart rate in real time and responds through light, sound, and vibration, adapting its output to the body's rhythms rather than following a fixed program.
Most importantly, the Ohm Resonance Lamp is not an app. Although an app is available, it is not needed for a meditation experience. The Lamp sits in your room with you in human space. It has weight, warmth, and presence, and when it is on, you know it. The result is a physical object that draws your attention more like a candle or a fire does.

Three major factors contributed to Calm Tech Institute's high rating:
Warmth and Haptic Feedback Guided by sensory biofeedback, the Ohm device communicates through multiple sensory channels simultaneously, including light gradients, subtle haptic feedback through a warm stone, and ambient sound. This multimodal approach reduces the cognitive load of any single channel and allows users to close their eyes and disengage from visual monitoring once calibration is underway.
Attention. The lamp operates as a standalone object, removing the pull of notifications and the temptation to multitask.
Glass. The warmth and weight of a physical object are a meaningful departure from glass and aluminum interfaces. Ohm has real weight and material honesty. The stone is warm in the hand, unlike the cool touch of a flat glass screen, helping with presence. Borosilicate glass diffuses light differently than plastic: high-quality glass provides softer, more even light without hot spots or color distortion.

Calm Tech Institute recommends the Ohm Resonance Lamp for individuals building a daily recovery practice, particularly those who find app-based meditation difficult to sustain. The device is especially well-suited for use at a desk, bedside table, or any space where restorative pauses are part of a regular routine.
The certification adds to a growing list of recognitions for the Resonance Lamp. In May, Ohm Health announced it received a Red Dot Award for design and was named one of Athletech News’ Most Innovative Fitness & Wellness Companies of 2026.
The Ohm Resonance Lamp is currently available for preorder at ohm.health for $299 USD.
Congratulations, Ohm Health. We are glad to welcome you to the CTI family!
