Calm Tech Institute to Certify ‘Urban Oasis’, an Immersive and Restorative Space at IMEX 2026
Designed by Hello! Destination Management, Urban Oasis gives attendees a place to pause and recharge during IMEX 2026.
On October 13th, 2026 Calm Tech Institute will certify Urban Oasis as Calm Tech Certified® at IMEX 2026, the first space certified at the prestigious event planner show.
Designed and produced by Hello! Destination Management, Urban Oasis is a space where IMEX attendees can relax and decompress without leaving the show venue. The temporary space includes living greenery, natural textures, wellness activations, restorative seating, and technologies that support wellbeing.
IMEX has named Design Matters as its key message for 2026 to 2027, and the Urban Oasis applies that idea towards attendee’s attention, recovery, and energy.

Calm Tech Institute and Hello! DMC Partnership
This is the second collaboration between CTI and Hello! DMC. The first was the Resilience Room (El Claro de Claridad), unveiled at MPI's World Education Congress in San Antonio earlier this year. Hello! received the first-ever CTI gold-tier certification awarded to a space.
For IMEX, Hello! leads the design and production of the space—with Cameron Rust, CSEP, Senior Director of Experience Design, directing the experience. CTI contributes the Calm Technology® design principles, selects and supplies Calm Tech Certified® products, and certifies the completed space.
How to Find Urban Oasis
The Urban Oasis is located at BF200, towards the left-side entrance of the Mandalay show floor (Mandalay Bay Convention Center). The space will be open during show floor hours: from 9:30am to 5:30pm Tuesday Oct 13th and Wednesday Oct 14th, and from 9:30am to 4pm on Thursday, Oct 15.
Urban Oasis Calm Tech Certified® certificate will be presented on Wednesday, October 14th at 10:30am. CTI’s Amber Case and Robin Moreau will be on site and available for interviews and room tours Tuesday, Oct 13 and Wednesday, Oct 14 and the afternoon of Oct 15th.
